Jinde Charity

Funds raised at Irish Network China (INC) events such as the Irish Ball have helped communities across China.

Irishman and INC member Joe Loftus sees that the money is well dispensed as a volunteer at the head office of Jinde Charities in Shijiazhuang , capital of populous Hebei province.

Cash raised through an auction at the Irish Ball 2007 was spent supporting children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.

Crazy Bake

Crazy Bake: "giving the mentally ill a chance to improve their lives through work"

If you've been to our monthly social nights at Paddy OSheas you'll likely have been asked to buy a load of bread: why?

Because one of the local non-profit organizations the INC supports is Crazy Bread, which helps the mentally ill to improve their lives through work. Patients at the Chaoyang Mental Hospital are taught to bake bread (by Swiss, German bakers) as a form of therapy but also as a source of income to improve their lives.

We sell two types of Crazy Bake product, an Italian farmhouse style and a Hallal/brioche variety, at our monthly social nights. Volunteers are needed at Crazy Bake: learn more at www.crazybake.com
